|Pompton Valley Presbyterian Church||
We strive to offer meaningful worship services that appeal to all ages. We have traditional services as well as contemporary services and weekly songfests. The congregation is encouraged to recommend new songs and worship ideas.
This newly formed committee is excited about finding opportunities to promote PVPC's mission in the community. Our goal is to make people more aware of and curious about Pompton Valley Presbyterian Church.
The personnel committee strives to meet the needs of the PVPC staff and acts as a liason between PVPC and the Palisades Presbytery Committee on Ministry.
Because of our deep sense of being a community who finds our identity in Jesus Christ, we understand that to whom much has been given much is required. We share our time, talents and treasures both locally and abroad. Locally we support the Pequannock Food Pantry, Northern New Jersey Fight against Hunger, Local flood relief, knitting for babies at Chilton. Our facilities are open to several local service organizations. In the surrounding area we are involved in Strengthen Our Sisters, Eva’s Village and the Family Promise of Morris County. Nationwide we support the Presbyterian Church, USA unified mission giving through the One Great Hour of Sharing and Peacemaking offerings. We also support Youth Mission trips whenever possible. Worldwide we are presently involved in the Rhema Partnership in India where we help to financial support a young child named Kumar with his education and health and well being. We are looking forward to a long term relationship with Kumar and his family.
